I’m Benyella Njeko: a digital strategist, web developer, and media producer based in Buea, Cameroon, with a career that spans journalism, film, graphic design, and software. For over 15 years I’ve helped universities, NGOs, and international organisations turn ideas into working systems — websites, campaigns, training programmes, and the institutions that carry them forward.

What I do
I work at the intersection of communication and technology — which means most projects I take on need more than one skill to finish properly.
- Digital Marketing & Strategy — SEO, content, social media, email and affiliate campaigns that are built to convert, not just to look good.
- Web & Software Development — WordPress, PHP, MySQL and JavaScript builds, from student portals to full applications.
- Graphic & Visual Design — brand identities, publications, and campaign materials produced in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and Fireworks.
- Video & Audio Production — filming, editing, and directing content for organisations including UNDP and SNV Netherlands.
- Training & Capacity Building — lecturing and running workshops in digital marketing, database management, and design for universities and development organisations.

I’ve delivered work for the University of Buea, UNDP, SNV Netherlands Development Organisation, the Christian Blind Mission, and the Centre for Human Rights and Democracy in Central Africa — alongside building and running my own ventures in education technology and digital infrastructure.

Currently building
Beyond client and institutional work, I run Buea Institute of Technology (BIT), where I lead digital marketing and teach the next generation of web developers and designers, and I lead Technology Initiatives for Development (TI4D), an NGO supporting tech startups through training and incubation. I also operate a MikroTik-based ISP hotspot network and take on remote digital projects for clients in the UK, US and Europe.
